Battle stations on Military Road

MAN THE BATTLE STATIONS, MAN THE BATTLE STATIONS... ENEMY AT 12 O'CLOCK! The first thing I though when I saw this house was that it looked like the bridge on a battleship or aircraft carrier. Again, this is the trouble with re-development in older beachside suburbs, the existing homes are torn down and well... this is pretty bad.

The neighbourhood is predominately sited with gentlemens bungalows and small villas. Some development during the war/post war years has included some deco structures too. Not all pretty, some homes have been left to deteriorate or have been 'remodelled' depending on the fashion at the time.
Ok, I can put up with some new development, the pre-fab and glass walled boxes but this dull grey house is a cancer which needs to be nuked! Got to be one of the ugliest houses in Adelaide!
(Note: I added the US3 just to prove a point).

Nope, doesn't look any better from this angle! And what's with the landscaping? Why bother.
